Freight Transport CPC Card

The Freight Transport CPC Card involves national and international freight transport. To obtain it, the candidate must attend a 45-hour training course that includes the following sections:

  • National Freight Transport (provisions of civil law, provisions of commercial law, provisions of social legislation, provisions of tax law, commercial and financial business management, market access, technical standards and operation, road safety).
  • International Freight Transport (market access, technical standards and operation, road safety).

Note: Training courses are not compulsory for graduates of Higher Education Institutions or Technological Educational Institutions.

Subsequently, drivers are required to pass a test administered by the Transport Directorate in the respective Regional Unit. The tests are carried out four times a year.

Passenger Transport CPC Card

  • International Passenger Transport (market access, technical standards and operation, road safety).

Note: Training courses are not compulsory for graduates of Higher Education Institutions or Technological Educational Institutions.
